Architectural Vision and Concept

Villa M, designed by the French-Brazilian Triptyque Architecture, in collaboration with landscape design by Coloco and art direction by Philippe Starck, brings a touch of the Amazon to Paris. The project, spearheaded by Thierry Lorente and Amanda Lehmann from Groupe Pasteur Mutualité, aims to establish a new connection between cities, nature, and health. It aspires to create a “villa médicis” and a vibrant healthcare-focused center in the heart of Paris.

Vertical Medicinal Forest

Triptyque Architecture envisions Villa M as a building enveloped by a vertical garden that will eventually cover the entire facade, transforming the structure into a medicinal forest. This unique architectural feature serves as the centerpiece of the design, enhancing the building’s aesthetic while promoting environmental sustainability.

Environmental Responsibility and Low-Tech Architecture

The project emphasizes environmental responsibility through the use of basic and organic materials, advocating for a low-tech architecture approach that aligns with sustainable principles.

Mixed-Use Complex

Villa M is a mixed-use complex that incorporates a hotel, restaurant, bar, conference area, check-up area, co-working space, and a showroom for health startups. This diversity of functions promotes collaboration, exchange, and mutual support among different health specialties and generations of health professionals.

Adapting to Urban Expansion and Health Challenges

The concept of Villa M addresses the challenges posed by urban expansion and healthcare crises, even before the Covid-19 pandemic. By integrating healthcare facilities into urban settings, the project aims to foster a more open relationship between citizens and health professionals, redefining the boundaries of healthcare beyond hospital walls.

Model for Future Cities

Designed as a model for the city of the future, Villa M represents a new paradigm in urban architecture and healthcare integration. It stands as a testament to the evolving relationship between urban environments and health, catalyzing a transformative shift in how cities approach healthcare infrastructure.

Collaborative Partnership

The realization of Villa M was made possible through collaboration with Groupe Pasteur Mutualité, marking a significant milestone in urban design and healthcare innovation. The project serves as a manifesto for naturalistic architecture and sustainable urban development.

Villa M by Triptyque Architecture is not just a building; it is a visionary project that redefines urban living by integrating nature, health, and community into the fabric of urban Paris.
